North Queensland Disc Golf Club
About Us:
North Queensland Disc Golf Club (NQDG) officially began in 2021, soon after the main 18 hole course was built by Maidment Group at the Harris Crossing Development in the Bohle Plains Suburb. Since then the club has run several major competitions, including the Queensland Open in 2022.
2024 was a big year for NQDG. The year started with a new 9 hole course was built at Marabou Park in Annandale through local Townsville City Council support. This was a long process from start to finish, but well worth it to grow the sport through a beginner course in a public park. Also in 2024 NQDG was incorporated. This has allowed NQDG to apply for grants and have further independence to increase the assets and equipment.
We are very excited to see where the club goes in the future.
